The Market Harborough Carnival is a yearly event takes place every June in the town of Market Harborough in Leicestershire, England. It starts with a parade of floats at around mid-day, leading down through the town and around Welland Park. The parade ends up at Symington’s Recreation Ground in St Mary’s Road, where there are numerous stalls and entertainment.
Many local schools and organizations take part in the event. There is no overall theme for the floats set by the organisers, ensuring a good diversity of float themes and designs. The lorries used for the floats are provided by local haulage company Sanderson Transport.

A major improvement took place from 1930 with the acquisition of land between Northampton Road and Farndon Road. This enabled the construction of Welland Park Road (which enabled east west traffic to bypass the town centre), provision of 100 homes for rent along Welland Park Road and 52 in Walcot Road to rehouse occupants of the old yard houses, plots for private housing, the layout of Welland Park and the construction of Welland Park School.
